Hey! To make your popcorn more crunchy, try baking it like you do caramel popcorn. It's what I do to make my Nutella popcorn.

Fill popped popcorn in shallow ovenproof dishes. Drizzle topping on the popcorn. Bake in the oven at 250F (200C). The longer you leave the popcorn in the oven, the crunchier the popcorn will be. Typically, I bake mine for 15 - 20 mins, but most caramel popcorn is baked for 60 - 90 mins. Stir your popcorn every 15 minutes to prevent burning.

When you've decided that the popcorn is done (or just can't wait any longer for super duper yummy popcorn), remove the trays from the oven and carefully break popcorn chuncks up (works best over a clean table).

Store popcorn in a airtight container.

Cheers!

[...] We moved into an amazing work/live loft at the Cotton Mill Studios in Oakland a few months ago, and we just about love everything about this place. Except one thing. The ugly white internet box smack dab in the middle of our living space. With, of course, conduit going all the way up to the ceiling. We both thought it was a strange design decision, but we couldn’t do anything to move it. It was such an eyesore that we started to brainstorm ways to hide it, while keeping the box and light switches accessible. Covering it with artwork just wasn’t functional, and not much could be done to hide the pipe going up to the ceiling. We finally decided on hanging a single large piece of fabric, but weren’t in love with the idea of a repetitive graphic print for our space. [...]

I'm going to make these tonight. To be sure (because of the 12/15 post).... is it 1/2 a stick or 1/2 a cup of butter?
I'm thinking 1/2 stick like your recipe states, but just want to make sure. They look awesome!
