The Real Fun Stuff
Finding other ways to communicate my ideas allow me to think big. Here are some projects that found their way out of a computer screen, as well as some personal projects of mine that I’m passionate about.
- OXO Video Contest
I entered a video contest and ended up winning a trip to NYC and becoming an OXO spokesperson. - Betterplace Tokyo Electric Taxi Project
Developing car graphics for the first electric taxi in Japan. - Betterplace Isreal
Car decal designs that were used as a marketing tool in Isreal. - SAVEUR Magazine Cover Contest
I entered a contest for a food magazine. I didn’t win, but I had a fun time doing it.
- Friends of the Urban Forest Bus Ads
Bus ad concepts that illustrate the joys of befriending a tree. - Green Patriot Poster
My climate change propaganda poster was recently chosen to be published in a book - Market This!
Book cover design for savvy marketers - Metropolis Magazine
A piece of schoolwork that I’m proud to say still lives in my portfolio.
Background
Growing up in the Silicon Valley fueled my passion for technology, and my curiosity fuels my creativity. I believe that good web design is more than just pictures and colors; it’s about solving problems in new ways, helping others find their voice, and making complex systems easier to understand.
Before joining Mule Design, I was a visual designer at SolutionSet, where I was the lead designer for Stanford Alumni, SourceForge, AliasDesign (Autodesk), and Stuart Foundation. I’m excited to be both a designer and developer at Mule, which allows me to discover different ways to communicate ideas.
Work & Education
I graduated from San José State University in 2007 with a BFA in Graphic Design, and a minor in Humanities.
I then became a visual designer at SolutionSet where I did branding, logo development, website design, and online marketing for various clients.
I am now a designer and developer at Mule Design.
